The Steel Duck from Steve Troop's "Melonpool"
The Steel Duck was commissioned last year by Steve Troop's wife as a Christmas gift. Having given Steve a good year's head start, it's time for the rest of you Melonpool fans to catch up!

Zeta from Tiffany Ross' "Alien Dice"
2005 featured another Alien Dice creature, Dash. This year it's Zeta, and he's not only carrying a plaque with the year 2008 engraved on it, but he's got a nice wreath around his neck, tied with a red bow.

Nessie from Ralph Hayes, Jr.'s "Tales of the Questor"
Nessie was a young racconian girl of the swamp, rescued by Quentyn, the Questor of Freeman Downs. She later featured in her own story, where she acquired her pet bog dragon, Oggy. Here, the two of them (with Oggy done up for the holidays) hold a plaque engraved with the year 2008.

The "Fruity Oaty Bar" Girls
Browncoats will recognize this trio from the film "Serenity". They're featured in the famous ad for Fruity Oaty Bars, which triggers something of an unexpected reaction from River. To see my macquettes of the entire cast of "Firefly", check out my DeviantArt gallery at http://ntoonz.deviantart.com.
