2007 featured a number of ornaments from my own strip, "Rangers!".  Saki-Chi is dressed as Cindy Lou Who, as depicted in the 2006 Christmas strip below.

As you can see, this fellow also comes from the Rangers! strip for Christmas 2006.  Before you ask, I'd better tell you that, even though he's a regular, I don't know his name.  Let's just name him "Clarence", for the character from Frank Capra's "It's a Wonderful Life".

I've done my best to feature a "Melonpool" themed ornament each year, in honor of Steve Troop, who was the very first online artist to allow me to offer macquettes of his characters.  2007 featured Sam the Dog, pilot of the Steel Duck, in a classic scarf and top hat (and a sprig of holly for good measure).  He's also holding a plaque engraved with the year.

The 2006 Melonpool ornament featured Sammy the Hammy, 5-foot tall hamster and engine of the Steel Duck.  He's also holding a plaque engraved with the year, out of which he's taken a bite (it's just his appetite, you know).

Lenny is the genie who serves as mentor/sidekick (did I say kick?) for Sam and Alex, the stars of John P. Lotshaw's "Accidental Centaurs".  John's no longer drawing the strip, but Lenny can still make an yearly appearance on your Christmas tree.

Considering all the popular TV show references on Mark Mekkes' strip "Zortic", it only makes sense to steal a march on that popular greeting card company and television network, and produce the first ever Christmas ornament depicting Zortic's state-of-the-art ship, the Entire Prize.

2006 also featured Dash from Tiffany Ross' comic "Alien Dice".  Normally a powerful leonine creature, Dash reverted at one point to his kitten state, which displeased him in no uncertain terms.  I caught him at that point, topped him with a festive hat, and the result is as you see.  He's too peeved to actually hold his plaque.

The hands-down favorite of 2006 was Sergeant Schlock of Howard Tayler's "Schlock Mercenary".  Or should I say Santa Schlock, as he's sporting a huge package of goodness for you (just don't ask him where he's been keeping it).
